DaimlerChrysler AG is updating its Mercedes B-Class. The facelift includes a new front grille, new air intakes under the bumper and new headlights. Under the hood, the car will get new gas and diesel engines with more power and better mileage.
This photo shows a prototype B-Class, which features a turn signal indicator on the side mirrors, different tail lights and a modified rear bumper. The new B-Class is scheduled for launch in spring 2008.
Safety
The Mercedes-Benz B-Class has just passed the European NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) rating system with flying colours, receiving the maximum five stars. What does this tell us? It shows Mercedes’ sandwich safety concept has demonstrated its effectiveness once again.
